Our weaving factory is located in Tuscany, the land we have breathed for many generations. Some fabrics are forever part of our culture. The diamond pattern, which we find in many European courts, was first seen in Siena during the dark ages at the mouth of Via Cassia and later, Via Fancigena. The name Pienza originates from the fact that this road (via) lead to the homonymous village. Some ancient records of the pattern can be admired in medieval art works, such as the Cenacolo of Duccio di Boninsegna and in the cloister of Monteoliveto Maggiore Buonconvento in Siena, as well as in the representation of the Olivetan monks refectory also. From this illustrious past this fabric has maintained in its texture the love for quality and the respect for beauty.
