This bicolor version of Donna di Coppe in the famous "Christmas red" is a Limited Edition. Every year for the Christmas Season we weave only a few metres / inches of this fabric.
As with most of our fabrics, it is not easy to date its origins. This counts as well for Donna di Coppe. For sure there is the goblet, the main element of a representation that has probably been metaphorically transferred from a 1800 Lucca painting. For decades it has been used in many fields; even as a theater curtain.
